So recently I heard about Shutterfly offering greeting cards to bloggers that applied for the opportunity. So I jumped on this chance. I love Shutterfly, just look around my house! My top 3 favorite items are:
1. The Wall Calendars http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars/wall-calendars I make one each year for myself, using pictures from that month the previous year. I find that it highlights our fun family happenings, but also allows me to organize my life. Yes, I said organize!
2. Canvas wall art http://www.shutterfly.com/home-decor/canvas-wall-art I have two canvas prints. One of Zander in black and white 16x20 hanging in the hallway going upstairs, and the other is of Garrett and that is hanging in my room. Canvas prints are my new favorite way to display photos. Soon enough you will see my house filled up with them!
3. Berry Merry Christmas 5x7 Photo Card. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/cards-stationery/berry-merry-christmas-5x7-photo-card-5x7-photo?sortType=1&storeNode=93480 This is my favorite...today. There are so many styles to choose from, it seems like my favorite changes daily. Last year I ordered 3 different designs to send out because I couldn't decide on just one!
This year, I plan on sending out 2 different card designs. One will be for family and the other to friends and my husband's coworkers. I just love the full color designs that Shutterfly offers. And this year especially. When looking through the designs, they are keeping up with the trends as well as offering the classic style. You can choose 1 photo, 2 photos and more! That makes it really nice to be able to really customize your cards to fit your family. I have 5 kids, and I will be doing a cute photo of them from this summer. Sometimes it's nice to have a little summer in your Christmas cards, right? So I strongly suggest checking them out if you are looking for really beautifully done Christmas cards. And if you are a blogger, http://bit.ly/sfly2010 to sign up for this same program!
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone!

New IEP today
So today was our meeting for Brianna's IEP. It was so fast. Everything has worked well this year, we are making one small change. We are removing the "repeat oral directions" part and added "check for understanding of direction before preceding" for the testing portion. I feel this will be good for Brianna as she seems to get bored with the repetitive direction. At her age, they read the oral directions twice already, so with the repeat in her IEP, she was getting them 4 times, which she expressed not needing or wanting. So we will see how this goes for a year, and if it needs to change back, we will do that next year, or earlier if I really feel it necessary.
That's about it really. Brianna has gotten glasses recently, and loves them. They are purple (of course). We recently got a backup pair as well. She likes the backups more (brighter purple) so she wears those daily now and the original (expensive) ones are the backups now. Oh well.
We signed her up for Softball with the town league for this summer. I can't wait to see if she likes it. This will be her first time participating in a sport outside of gym class! She wanted to do it, her sisters and brother are doing it this summer, and I am sure that played into her decision a bit. It is very exciting. I can't wait! Maybe I am a bit more excited than any of the kids are for summer to get here!
Well, that's about it. Things are great. Brianna is great. Life is wonderful!
